Hack Success – Program Your Mind With This 15-minute Morning Guide

As creatures of habit, we can only make long-term worthwhile achievements if we can stick to a routine that clears mental clutter, frees up cognitive space, and primes the mind for success.

In the last post, we learned about the power of the subconscious mind . In this post, I provide you with a definite and straightforward 15-minute morning guide that will help you hack the Success Program of your mind.

There are three main stages of hacking the mind. These are:

  • The Inception and Priming Stage
  • The Affirmation Stage
  • The Appreciation Stage

Stage 1: Inception and Priming (5 minutes)

The human brain and mind are remarkably malleable and receptive in the first waking moments. During this period, the brain remains in the alpha stage, which lasts for about 15-20 minutes. Here lies the gateway to the subconscious mind!

Sadly, many people do not put this period to use, perhaps because they are unaware of its existence or simply because they lack discipline. Some hit the snooze button, giving in to the temptation of sleeping in, while most check their social media feeds. Here’s the catch: begging for more sleep or comparing yourself to others on social media at a subconscious level will only set you up for failure. So, what should you do to prime yourself for success?

Here’s what to do. Make a list of music or videos or image which makes you feel empowered and strong – choose the one which is most powerful, save it in your on your phone. Use this first 5 minutes of your day to prime your mind by – by listening to this music or video or image . For example, you could listen to the track , or watch the motivational video instead of hitting the snooze button or going on Instagram. Anything you listen to at this time must resonate in harmony with your goals, thus putting you in the best state for achievement that day.

Stage 2: The Affirmation Stage (5 minutes)

We know that our thoughts shape our realities. The power of making affirmations are enormous and more so during the first 15 minutes of the day! Have a set of affirmations that are in line with the success or belief you’re trying to create.

Saying your affirmations without an underlying conviction will have little or no effect. Hence, in this affirmation stage, you must visualize each of the affirmations, seeing yourself as having accomplished them. So here is what you do.. Every morning – fill in the blanks of the following message – with a positive message of the required success that you need . Now look at the mirror and repeat it 7 times.

” I am ….. , I am ….. and i feel …. ”

For example, if our new affirmation is:

“I am wealthy, I am in control of finances , I feel great about making more money.”

You have to envision or remember  a situation where you are receiving a lot of money, Now feel the wealth is flowing to you as you speak – Make it sensorially rich – see the situation and focus on the money, what will you hear or want to hear when you see this, how does it feel in your skin and body – feel it , and then recreate it.  Do it when you are in private space – As awkward as it may seem, it works – So stick to it! With time, your brain will form neural networks , your subconscious mind will work towards attracting wealth.

Stage 3: The Appreciation Stage (5 minutes)

Many people think they are not making progress because they never keep tabs of their small successes. Without reflection and gratitude for what we have, we will continue to subconsciously reinforce negative beliefs with low levels of energy and motivation. Recording your progress in a dedicated journal will bring clarity to your life, and acceleration towards the achievement of your goals. So this is what you do, every morning – you look at this journal and see where you started from.

Do you realize most of your desires and dreams have already come true- only by the time your desires have changed. And that is human nature – we are designed to have more dreams and desire – and to realize them as well. once we dream, our subconscious mind works towards making that dream a reality. However we often forget to be greatful for what we have achieved. Take this time in the morning to look at how you have realized all those small or big things you have achieved. Thank your part of you which has made your dreams a reality. Then dream again .

Going through our gratitude journal on bad days will pep you up for success and bring some good energy into you. You’ll also be able to break any habitual thought of self-deprecation.

Final Thoughts

It is incredible how much you can accomplish by setting aside the first 15 minutes of your day to prime yourself for success. There’s a thin line between we owning the day, or the day owning us. You can succeed beyond your dreams if you have a Life coach to help you through the process. And I’ll be glad to help. Success awaits you!

Peace!
